Odos, a decentralized exchange aggregator, will permanently shut down all services on July 30. The company behind Odos announced the closure Thursday, ending four years in which the platform routed more than $104 billion in trades.
The shutdown removes a significant player in the DeFi aggregator landscape. Odos routed token swaps across multiple DEXs, minimizing slippage and improving execution price for users across Ethereum and compatible networks. The aggregator market remains competitive, with protocols like 1inch and ParaSwap continuing to offer similar services.
The decision to cease operations comes during a period of sustained on-chain activity. Trading volumes have held up, driven by stablecoin transfers and speculative asset swaps. The exit of a major aggregator could shift liquidity flows for protocols that relied on Odos for external order routing.
Users and integrated protocols must transition to alternative aggregators or direct DEX interfaces before July 30.
