INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana extended its winning streak to four games, defeating the Seattle Storm 105-92 behind a dominant backcourt performance.
Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 32 points, seven assists and four rebounds, going 10-for-20 from the field and 4-for-9 from three-point range. Kelsey Mitchell added 28 points, shooting 11-for-18 and hitting four threes of her own. Together they drove 57 percent of Indiana's scoring output and kept the Storm defense scrambling all night.
The win is Indiana's fourth straight — the franchise's longest streak since 2019. The Fever are now 10-12 and sit fifth in the Eastern Conference, one game behind the fourth-place Atlanta Dream.
Clark's 32 marked her fifth 30-point game of the season. The rookie is increasingly functioning as a primary facilitator alongside Mitchell, not just a scorer. Her seven assists against Seattle's defensive pressure underscore that evolution.
Mitchell has averaged 24.5 points per game over the last four contests. Her consistency as a scoring threat alongside Clark gives Indiana a genuine two-guard attack that opposing defenses haven't found an answer for.
Indiana shot 51.2 percent from the field and recorded 26 assists on the night. The Fever committed only 10 turnovers. The 105 points were a season high.
Seattle, now 12-10, couldn't adjust to Indiana's perimeter shooting in the second half. The Storm allowed too many open looks and fell further back in the Western Conference standings.
Indiana hosts the New York Liberty on Aug. 2. The Liberty, at 15-7, lead the Eastern Conference. That game will tell us quickly whether this Fever run is real or a product of a soft stretch of schedule.
