President Donald Trump claimed his 40th club championship title Sunday, winning at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. with a score of 2-under 70.
Trump quickly publicized the win, saying the accomplishment came despite a demanding schedule. "Unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practice, because I'm focused on many other things," he said.
He used the victory to take a shot at his fellow competitors. "It's called TALENT, and I have it, and they don't," Trump said.
Trump's golf claims have drawn scrutiny before. Critics have accused him of cheating during play, charges he consistently denies.
Trump announced the win on Truth Social.
